Frequently asked questions
Is Escola Vereda a full-day school?
Yes. From Early Childhood through Elementary, Vereda is full-day, 7:20 AM to 3:10 PM (Elementary I) and 7:50 AM to 4:00 PM (Elementary II). We have campuses in Santo André and São Bernardo do Campo. Arrival and dismissal times may change for the next school year.
What is included in the tuition?
The full-day program includes pH System learning materials, breakfast and lunch, five English classes a week, plus programming, theater, and life skills in the curriculum, with no extra costs or expensive supply lists at the start of the year. Throughout the year we host several events, such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, the science fair, and the June festival, with no admission charged to students. The only exception is the June festival, where admission is charged only for a second accompanying guest.
How does English work at Vereda?
There are five English classes a week within the regular curriculum, so there is no need for an external course.
What are the arrival and dismissal times?
Early Childhood and Elementary I: arrival 7:20 AM, dismissal 3:10 PM. Elementary II: arrival 7:50 AM, dismissal 4:00 PM. Regular High School: arrival 7:00 AM, dismissal 12:30 PM. Arrival and dismissal times may change for the next school year.
What is Vereda's academic and performance approach?
Consistent preparation for the ENEM and leading university entrance exams, with high-performance teaching supported by the pH System (Somos Educação) and the Plurall platform. In the early years, we emphasize full literacy in both Portuguese and English. From Elementary II onward, we begin a gradual, natural transition toward a higher level of performance that deepens through the final years of Elementary and into High School. All of this comes with strong encouragement of Knowledge Olympiads (mathematics, sciences, writing, and more) and individualized tracking of each student's performance.
How do I find out tuition and enroll?
Tuition can be checked on our enrollment page. During a visit to one of our campuses, we present and explain how our annual tuition is composed, keeping in mind that it already includes: pH System learning materials, breakfast and lunch, five English classes a week, programming, theater, and life skills.
